Service Description
A group for children who love artmaking or wish to try something new. This group will support creative children to develop social and executive functioning skills, emotional regulation and build friendships. If your child has ADHD, anxiety and/or neurodiversity, this is a welcoming space. Ages 5 to 12 years Limited to 6 children in the group. Location: In person at Nurture Nest Art Studio located in Cornerstone Music Cafe 14919 Deer Ridge Dr SE #139, Calgary AB Dates: 4 sessions Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30 pm (1 hour) Begins Nov. 1 to Nov. 22, 2023. Cost: $160 +tax. Includes all materials. Choose from inspiring process art invitations each week to use paint, paper art, drawing, clay, and natural and recycled materials. Play art games and learn skills for socializing in a group. All art materials are included. No art experience is necessary. Facilitated by professional art therapists Erin Gartner and Tammy Thomson. Parents can stay on site and enjoy the café setting or leave a contact phone number. A signed waiver required.
Cancellation Policy
Cancelling your booking prior to commencement of a class: If you wish to cancel your enrolment prior to the commencement of a Nurture Nest Class, we will provide you with a refund in full, provided cancellation is given at least 48 hours in advance. Cancelling your enrolment during a class: If you miss a class or classes during the duration of a course, we do not offer a credit or refund. If you miss a class because it has been cancelled or postponed by Nurture Nest, you will be offered an alternative date for the missed class OR a credit for another similar class. Please note, under extenuating circumstances, this policy will be reviewed at the sole discretion of Nurture Nest on a case by case basis. Class Disclaimers • Course fees must be paid in full prior to commencement of the first class • Nurture Nest reserves the right to postpone or cancel any class or amend class timing if necessary; We also reserve the right to substitute course tutors but will make every effort to inform enrolled students or their caregivers. • Fees are still payable for unattended classes. • Confirmation of enrolment in a class will be via receipt of payment of course fees. • All effort has been made to ensure the information on this website is correct however changes may be made at the discretion of Nurture Nest. Payment Terms We accept payment for purchases made through the Nurture Nest website via all major credit cards. We charge your credit card at the time of your purchase via the Stripe secure payment system.
