Enjoy Art in the Outdoors!
“Communities are not built of friends, or of groups of people with similar styles and tastes, or even of people who like and understand each other. They are built of people who feel they are part of something that is bigger than themselves. To build community requires only the ability to see value in others: to look at them and see a potential partner in one's enterprise.”
-Suzanne Goldsmith, A City Year, 1997
It's a great day to create outside!

Creative fun in YOUR community for the whole family geared towards children ages 2-10 years, (siblings are welcome).
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Try a variety of art materials, nature art, sensory play, stories, and songs with Educator, Author, and Professional Art Therapist Tammy Thomson. This 1.5 hour program offers families the opportunity to connect with other families in the Shawnee Evergreen community and make art together. Year round throughout every season you will find us creating outside!
